Amazon Finds Under $25

If you missed Prime “Big Deals” Days (October 10-11), no need to worry! There’s always a good deal to be found on Amazon, and we’ve unearthed a few good ones for this fall season.

Organization

Nothing screams, “I have my life together!” like storing your food (or your pet’s food) in a nice, air-locked container. These clear plastic containers don’t only look sharp –– they have a great customer rating as well. They come in a variety of sizes. Only the biggest (4.5 quarts) squeaks in at $.30 over our $25 limit… so we’ll allow it. The other six sizes all come in under the limit!

The myHomeBody pen organizer ($13.99) is cute and comprehensive. With a 360-degree rotation, it’s like the best parts of a Lazy Susan and a pen caddy all in one. There’s a spot for your Post-It notes, erasers, scissors, and any other small desk items.

Who said diaper bags had to be ugly? This KiddyCare Diaper organizer ($22.49) is an adorable basket with all the practicality of a diaper bag. The compartments are removable, too, so if you ever need a picnic basket, you’ve got one.

Did you know that the average person spends 30 minutes every week untangling their headphones? (This is not true, but it sometimes feels that way.) If your drawer/car/desk/life in general feels overwhelmed by cords, cables, and other tech-related accessories, you would benefit from the Taskin Tech Accessories Pouch ($24.27). It’s exactly what it sounds like: a little bag with places to organize and store your thumb drives, cables, headphones, and other small tech accessories.

Skincare / Hygiene

Skincare doesn’t have to be a multi-step routine painstakingly executed both morning and night. Sometimes you just need some excellent moisturizing cream. You can’t get less frilly than Bag Balm. It’s under $9 for 4 ounces.

Still no-nonsense, but slightly less rugged is CeraVe, an excellent fragrance-free body moisturizer to help battle dry skin as winter draws near.

A bit on the fancier side, L’Occitane shea butter hand cream ($10/oz) is a stylish gift (for someone else or for yourself) and will help keep your hands soft and moisturized.

If it’s not snowing outside, but it is on your shoulders, that might mean your scalp could use some TLC. Mielle Organics’ Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil is less than $10 for 2 ounces, and can help nourish and soothe a dry, flaky scalp.

Lume Whole Body Deodorant ($17.49) does a lot more than mask smells. Lume is formulated to block smells before they start, and is safe to use everywhere on the body, from underarms to feet to anywhere else.

Life Hacks

Reduce your single-use plastics by using beeswax instead! Bee’s Wrap ($18.99) is a reusable, environmentally-friendly substitute for plastic wrap that will keep your food fresh and your carbon footprint minimal.

The UnbuckleMe Car Seat Buckle Release Tool ($17.99) is quite the hack for a parent or caretaker with long nails, arthritis, or limited hand mobility. This product was on Shark Tank! It was developed by an occupational therapist who suffered from hand arthritis. Now she can easily unbuckle her grandchildren’s car seats.

It’s not news anymore that alcohol is terrible for sleep. But it can still be nice to enjoy a nightcap. Enter: nonalcoholic nightcaps. Most bottles of nonalcoholic liquor will run you about the same price as their alcoholic counterparts (roughly $30 a bottle, give or take the brand). However, if you want to try out a tasting pack for only $24, you can figure out your favorite flavor and go from there.

Another Shark Tank alumni: Wad-Free for Bedsheets ($19.99) reduces that terrible situation when your bedsheets are so tangled up in the dryer that there’s a mess of still-wet laundry in the middle of the bundle. Leave that sitting for too long and you have a bunch of sour laundry. Nobody has time for that!
